We seem to have developed an arch rival: Darden Cup round 2

Section C you did it again.
It was the last few seconds of cricket, I was up to bat and we were down by a few runs. I'd like to say I hit the ball out of the pitch smashing the flood lights and running the final few runs in a celebratory shower of glass and filaments.
But I didn't.
Section C, beat us again in the finals.

Section C-You've made a very powerful enemy.

It was a good afternoon and the team played amazingly despite the weather and inappropriate 'tea time' snacks (tailgate food and cricket food are not the same).

Next round is American touch football. It's going to be E!

How to not hold a cricket (read: cricket not baseball) bat

Section E out in force!

About

I was originally born outside London but spent much of my childhood in Seattle. Most recently I was working for News UK (News International) in London in strategy and insight. I now find myself at Darden pursuing my MBA and hope to use the knowledge gained to start my own consumer goods business. In the mean time, you'll find me trying all the restaurants in Charlottesville, running the streets around town or convincing friends to have an early afternoon drink.
